Documentation: Manuals included with all systems are the 'Quick Start Guide', the 'User Manuals', and the 'Technical Reference Manual'. The 'Quick Start Guide' is a step by step guide for the new user to get through a part. The 'User Manual' covers different subjects in detail. Setup files, Tool & Material libraries, and quick keys are a few of the subjects covered. The 'Technical Reference Manual' covers everything in Shopcam. It's organized in according to the menus. You can easily and quickly find detailed explanations of all the features in the system. CAD file compatibility: Merge existing CAD files. The standard DXF and IGES formats are supported. Simple NC G-code files may also be back plotted. Whether you create the CAD files yourself or your customers supplies them, you won't have to duplicate geometry that has already been drawn. Post Processors: A library of the standard post processors are included. Over 250 in all. Sample output from each post is included to assist in selected a post. Support: One year of unlimited technical support is included with each system. This includes phone support, email or fax. Regular software updates are posted on the web. |
